“If you take care of birds, you take care of most of the environmental problems in the world.” – Thomas Lovejoy, Biologist and Godfather of Biodiversity
So let’s focus on birds and conservation of their habitat during 2018. This year marks the centennial of the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, the most powerful and important bird-protection law ever passed. The year of the Birds is a joint project of more than 50 organizations, among them giants like the National Audubon Society, Bird Life International, The Cornell Lab of Ornithology and National Geographic. And we ask you to take action, too:
Each month you can make a difference for birds and for the planet.
