THANK YOU to all who joined us at our 45th Anniversary year of EcoWeekend! We had 8 new program leaders this year who are experts and enthusiasts in their fields of interest, bringing us new knowledge and new experiences. Our returning program leaders are also much appreciated and requested year after year. A little bit of rain and cold did not dampen our spirits – we are nature lovers, after all!
Lois Day was awarded the newly created “Lois Day EcoWeekend Outstanding Volunteer Award” for her 45 years of service. Lois has been on the EcoWeekend committee continuously since the inception of this wonderful event. Lois has received a commemorative plaque and a 45th anniversary t-shirt to reminder her how much we appreciate her. Congratulations Lois! Your commitment and contribution to EcoWeekend is valued and recognized!
Another exciting recent happening is that EcoWeekend is now Trademarked! All thanks goes to Pete Precario for his persistence over the two years it took to make this happen.
We’d also like to THANK Meijer Lancaster for their continued support of EcoWeekend with their generous donation to our Youth Program snacks.
It is our Program leaders, Youth leaders, Committee members and our participants, young and old, that make EcoWeekend the unique and wonderful family nature retreat that it is. Plan to join us May 4-6, 2018 – mark your calendars!
